how to "making white walls"?

there is a ton of video's online about this but I'm curious what your guys thoughts are on this. 200+ bucks per white wall is a bit extreme i think. but idk how i feel about taking a grinder to the sidewall of a tire either... thoughts?

There used to be machines that used car dealers used to cut white walls. Same concept.

The ones I've seen done with a grinder in the back yard look rough to me. If you really want to try it, at least use some old tires to practice on.

Ya I was thinking of trying it on my old tires before buying new ones. See if I like the look and see how good I can do it.

I'd rather do a portawall than removing material from the sidewall. Of course buying a new whitewall is optimal.

with my budget build, i'll just stick with regular blackies. id have more money in tires than the rest of the car.
