I found a hammer in my engine!!!

I recently upgraded my inlet manifold. This is genuinely what I found under the valley gasket!
No apparent damage.
I’m still stunned!!

The first automotive job I had was as a kid in HS. Oil/Lube/tire tech at a Kmart. On my first day, they told me I was going to have to buy my own toolbox. The first assignment I had was dismounting a flat. And much to my surprise, inside the tire... a pair of 1930s-looking pliers in fine shape. They are still in my toolbox.

Punched a big old hole in a tire. Been in my box since 1989.
