First of all --- I don't dispute "your claim" that any
year Mopar has 2 piece rotors --- here's one for ya' -- as far as you're concerned, I don't care.....
you want to say something that's not in any book, be my guest, I'd rather have you disappear rather than argue with a smug, overbearing, know-it-all....
I notice you don't set up next to me and try and compete with me..... and if you did, you better be prepared to do so topless, because you'll lose your shirt.......
You mark any of my comments, "Bookmark: caution" ever again; you'll open yourself to a slander suit . Bookmark: caution--------------

I found this to be amusing and wanted to share it with the board. :ohthedrama:

This is what we are dealing with..........................

I cautioned someone here (FCBO) a few days ago about Mobileparts selling parts. He and I once got into it at the Englishtown show over rotors, what came on a 71 Polara and what didnt. Thats it, nothing more, nothing less.

Is he threatening to hide your shirt?

I didn't read very long when I researched what disc Brakes would fit on my '67-'68 Chryslers and several sources showed that '69-'73 will work, but they prefered '73 because it was a more ridgid one piece construction and was less prone to warpage.

I would think being in sales, the better reponce would have been to check the information, then admit a simple mistake the next time it came up.

BTW, something has to be a false statement to be slander, and when it's in print it's called libel. So really the only threat you have to worry about is him hiding your shirt. You better bring some sun screen...

There's not going to be another fight at Carlisle is there? Let's work it out like gentlemen, it's only parts! and Has2B you should bring your sunscreen to Carlisle no matter what!

Well, FWIW, Mobileparts ain't EVER gonna get any business from me for popping off like that.
I don't care if it's unobtainium. Nice business demeanor, wouldn't you say?
I see a loose cannon...
Mobileparts: I just deleted your bookmark.

Mobileparts may not understand the basics of business. The customer is always right. I worked in the automotive sector for almost a decade and understand these things very clearly. You do a customer wrong and he tells 10 of his friends and they tell ten of their friends... I won't be buying anything from Mobileparts.

Sorry Matt, I would really like to check out Carlisle, but it's too far for me. I've gone to Mopar Nationals at Indianapolis a couple times and at Columbus a couple times, and Columbus OH is a 16 hour drive.

One that you should consider is the Mopar show at Farmington MN, it is just south of Minneapolis, and has always taken place on the first weekend in June. This is the same show that was formerly held at Shakopee a few years ago.

Stan, are there any Mopar specific shows of substantial size in your corner of the world?

No........Listen, anything I posted about this was so someone can see the type of person they are dealing with then let them decide for themselves. Its like a good/bad vendor thread. I am not looking for any bashing nor do I want the thread to be drawn out.

We have a couple of friends that make the trip every year from MO, the length of the drive doesn't keep them away, I do understand though. It only takes us about 9 hours and I could see driving 12 for it but any more then that could be where I draw the line. You should see it at least once for sure!

IMHO Carslisle should be on everybody's bucket list. You won't be dissappointed and glad you went at least once.

The sad part is you wont be able to hear them play it........

What's really messed up is that I can't request a military headstone until I'm deceased. How is that suppose to happen? I don't have anybody responsible enough to make sure that happens after my last roll call. I'll come up with some sort of plan. Adapt, overcome...

Write it into your will.
