1962 Apache pop up camper
"I have here a 1962 apachee pop up camper. Its in very good conditon for its age. Has all the seat cushions and 1 matress pad (other one was tore up.) It also has an icebox and plenty of storage under all seats. Has no leaks but could be sewn in a couple small spots. Has a fresh coat of water shield on the whole canvas. Trailer hitch is 1 & 7/8 in size. Owner before me paintd half the outside grey which would look great if it was finished. Needs new tail lights but i will throw in a pair of brand new, only used once (for this trailer), emergency tow lights so you can tow it home. Clean title. This camper has treated us great but now it is time to pass it onto someone who will enjoy it just as much as we have. $800 firm"
Back in October/November when I was shopping pop ups, this "popped up" at $250. I called at my first opportunity, but the seller (a nice older lady) had someone on their way to look at it. The buyer was several hours late getting there, but I respected the seller's not wanting to get into a situation of two buyers.
The OP unfortunately/fortunately did buy. I really like the bodywork on this, it reminds me of an old Falcon. I hate the big TV crap... why even go camping? I believe the majority is as purchased.
When I was complaining about the missed opportunity at work, someone told me about the one I bought... I really can't whine, I made out great. Mine is cheap and decent enough, but lacks the character of this old girl.
@bluefury361 @commando1 @monaco75 @65Fury440 all had the chance to see what I "settled" for... I wanted to show what I was shooting for.
