I have mixed feelings about this as I have owned this car since 1993. I feel that the car went to someone who will cherish her like I did. She will stay local and she sold for what I wanted for the car. This sale will help fund the restoration of my ‘71 Sport Fury GT.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I am thankful for all of my friends, many of whom I have met on this forum.

Someone got one hell of a nice car! I'm glad to hear you got your price. I have owned mine since '82, I don't know if I could sell it. Hope I never have to find out.

Mixed feelings is an understatement. I have had my ‘68 300 since ‘94. I can only imagine the feelings. Hope you’ll get to see her around town.

Congrats Bill….and my condolences too. I am glad it went to a good home and you can keep working on the other resto. Happy thanksgiving as well.

Wooowww, I’m so sorry to hear that the car is gone Bill. It musta been hard to see it go since you had it for so long and its become part of you. I’m glad that you got your asking price though, and that you got the right person who will take care of it. Thats what matters. Congratulations on the sale. I hope you will see it again with it being local to you. Do you know what the new caretakers plans are? Just letting you know that “The Bear” is also gone, it left this morning and went to Patterson NY. It too went to someone who we think will cherish as much as we did, the new owner was estatic.

I guess that’s good news on the bear. As far as I know the new owner of my SF will enjoy it as a cruiser.

That sounds like a nice plan, he will definitely get alot of enjoyment out of it then . Did he say if he plans to keep the stroker engine in it?

IMO it's worth it to sell and then use the funds for the car you really want! The wife and I have been doing much contemplating but really do want to sell the 68 Chrysler to buy my dream 62. It's already in my reach, and I have had my heart set on a 62 for years now.

I love my 68! I would keep it but thinking about the pros and cons of keeping both id rather sell my 68 in order to buy the 62 300 I've been wanting for so long. I guess in my case however I no longer feel an attachment to my project.
