Iggy is here, looking up her skirt.

Looks like Iggy has the rear heat or AC option based on the lines runnibg down the passenger side. Neat option.

I personally like these three vehicles in your collection the most - really over the top beautiful:

Virgil Exner was a real genius in automotive design. He joined Chrysler in 1949 and was chief of design until 1963 and of course his legacy is Chrysler's Forward Look cars (1955 - 1961).

His successor, Elwood Engle joined Chrysler's styling department in 1961 (he came from Ford where he was chief designer of the game changing 1961 Lincoln Continental) and stayed with Chrysler until 1974. He too was a styling genius in my book where among his designs were the fuselage cars (1969 - 1973) that were also some of my most favorite vehicles, and it was his leadership that produced Old Red and Iggy.

Iggy and Old Red will be going to a very worthy home.

Keep up the great work Mike - you have great taste in automobiles!

The 57 and 60 are cool, both factory yellow cars. Technically the C is called Champagne Gold, 1 of 4 in that color. The F is 1 of 3 done in Sunburst Yellow. The 58 Adventurer convertible is 1 of 6ish known to exist. Actually gets driven a fair amount. We did a round trip to Carlisle in it a few years ago, 750 miles :).

I have a team of guys that do all my detailing. Each car is different in what it gets. Depends on paint thickness, type of etc and a few other variables. They all end up with some type of coating, usually a ceramic type coating, so they're easy to maintain over time. They've done all of my cars. This car is pretty bad, so it will be a multi stage cut to get all of the swirls out or as many as they can.

Since every car can be different, what is the average cost of detailing and ceramic coating of the paint?
Is ceramic coating more cost effective versus a total repaint? For example a good paint job can run 8,000 to 10K or even 15k depending on the car.
Looks like Iggy's paint can be saved, cheers!

Depending on the car, it can range from 800-1300. Depends on how bad, what type of paint, etc. The great part is given the amount we drive the cars, I can wash any of them in 5 min with 1 gallon of water and rinse less wash. Makes it great for things like the hotrod Power tour. The cars are so resilient in weather.

Thank you!
I have been considering ceramic coating myself since my paint job (base/clear) is going on 3 years old and during the summer she stays outside since I have no garage..yet. Plus i do a LOT of driving!
Being on the road washing was always a concern and your answer helps.
Thanks again.

Talking with my interior guy now about what he can do with the front seats. Will see how close of a match we can get to stock and rebuild the bottom so I don't sink into them haha.
