Does anyone have an Imperial rear shock, (67-75), that they could measure, from center of mount to center of mount, in both collapsed and extended positions....?
Thanks, Will.

Can it be an aftermarket shock or a OEM Mopar shock.
Im asking because you said Imperial specifically, rather than C-body.

I might but would have to wait till tomorrow.

An OEM replacement should be close. I suspect that an Imperial shock will extend longer then a C body shock, which is what I need to compensate for the higher ride height due to the extra leaf in the Admirals rear spring.

I couldn't find the info in the 69 FSM or parts book.

I'm checking my stash as we speak...

A new pair of Monroe Pronto shocks still in their boxes from about '95 according to the instruction sheet inside, measure 15 9/16" to 26 1/4". These came with my '67 and have a number 20706 on them.

Thank you Matt. As I suspected, the Imperial rear shock is almost 2" longer with a 1+" longer stroke than my Fury wagons shocks.
Might be the ticket to smooth out the ride.

No problem Will!
