Thinking about buying a M1 dual plane intake manifold to put on my 59 DeSoto, just wondering if this one will fit converting it to a 4 barrel. Currently I have the stock 2 barrel intake sitting on the B block 383, just wondering if this would work. Casting number says P4532081, but I can't seem to find what applications this would work on. If this one won't fit, what suggestions do you all have for replacement if I choose to go in that direction?
Thanks for your help!

Are you certain you don’t have an RB 383 found in ‘59 & ‘60?

I can’t find any info on that number. Maybe its part number is different from the casting number. Do you have anymore info on it? Measurements? Pictures? Link to ad?

If the seller would be agreeable to stretching a tape measure across it at its widest point in order to confirm the application as stated, the B engine measures around 12 1/2 inches wide and the RB engine intake measures closer to 13 1/2 inches wide.
It’s a fair price either way though.

Yup that's what I thought as well, I'll give him a jingle and see what he says. Thanks for the measurement info!
