Is Wyatt Or @71Polara383 Permanently Gone Too?!

So I saw a recent post that was made by lemondana about ol' Dave or Polara71 and why he is not on the site anymore here, and blah blah blah. I was gonna tag Wyatt or 71Polara383 as I thought he knew why Dave got banned and maybe he could shed some light on why Dave got banned if he wanted to; BUT i noticed his name didn't come up when I went to tag him. I searched for his name and it did not say when he was last seen here, so I clicked on his profile and it said "oops we ran into problems". What the f**k is goin' on, did he pull a Dave and get mad at admin?! Both these members (in my opinion) were VERY good assets and VERY knowledgeable to this site.

Yup, he's gone too. Wyatt can be found on the Dry Dock. Dave was trying to resurrect that site too but he hasn't been there in months either.

I joined just before they were removed. Just before the whole CENSORSHIP thing happened.
Someone's feelings were hurt and this site lost a TON of knowledge.

Some of us, have friends who are jack asses but are good folks and lots of info. We just deal with em and don't let em bother us. It's called life.
Bring the bullies back, please. Not for the sake of those with soft feelings. But for those of us who can not get our panties all bunched up.

Regardless, it showed who the owners and admins are. Censored. Woke. Liberal.

Good practice really. We all know now, more than ever, that if we use something that is "owned" then we have literally no rights to say anything. Or have an opinion. Sure we can have an opinion and post it. But if it's against the liberal mods then we are removed. Only other option is to leave.

I'm glad that the politics section is opened up so at least people can talk there. I see that lots of yal C body guys are not on any of the other forums so you don't have the exposure of news and politics.

Yes, I have an opinion. Censorship is wrong.

It appears, that with the likes here, that the majority is on Wyatt's and Dave's side.
But the admins stick with the few.

Not run like a democratic republic. Run like a socialist society.

I need the knowledge, so I put up with it. For now. But for everything I "can't" say, it builds anger and contempt to those who censor my brothers words.

Otherwise, I'm a super happy guy! Life is freakin great! Wish I could add another day to this existence.

As cuda hunter already stated, I am unfamiliar with the thread that caused the exodus. But have met some of the guys at Carlisle and they were great. Of course I only discussed cars and parts. the funny thing is I noticed Dave missing after he made his move to Idaho from Jersey and thought he just moved on to other things.

They are both on the dry dock. Dave hasn't posted in a while, but he checks in. He's taken a break from the forums while. Wyatt has a You Tube channel "Shipwrecked Mopars". I was hoping to catch up with both of them at Carlisle, time will tell.

Maybe just disappointed with how things have turned to **** with all the censorship and banning of long time members. I was away from the site for quite some time and came back to find Polara Dave gone. A couple of trolls were allowed to stir up trouble in the America thread for a long time without any action taken by the admins, go figure.

Until recently the mods here thought we Cbody guys didn't merit the benefit of a politics area while all the other body groups have had that feature for years. There was more than one thread but it was the "America" thread that caused a "problem" but only in the minds of our woke main mod Joey and a few snowflake members with delicate sensibilities. A few leftist folks on the board (with possibly "alter ego" fake accounts) and who have never posted anything car related were given free reign to troll to their hearts content while the mods came down hard and got rid of those "troublemakers" who went after the trolls and those conservative members they were offended by. Joey has finally seen the light and opened the political section. My only question is why wasn't it done 3 years ago?

The truth of the matter is that the true car guys that Wyatt & Dave are don't need this site to do what they do for the hobby, but it was a good platform while they were here until they were banned because of a small group of left crybabies who started pouting to the mods and ruined it for the team.
Some people just don't have thick skin I guess and chose to ***** to the mods until they felt they had to take the harsh action they did by eliminating them from any further contributions to this site, to appease these crybabies' feelings.
There are ways to stay in touch with these guys if you go on the Dry Dock or Wyatt's YouTube page, or in person if you're local.
I didn't renew my gold membership for one reason, and that was that I'm not going to pay someone a fee to censor my opinions.

The thread that started it all, pun intended for those who remember, has been deleted. It went from talking about the noise a starter makes, to an issue that had nothing to do with the thread. It should have been handled in a PM, but the member called out Wyatt in a childish way, and Wyatt wasn't having any of that. He dropped some F bombs, while a mod was working with Wyatt and the other member, then toolmanmike jumped in and without looking at what was going on, gave him a week vacation for that.

Then I sold the Cicada, and Wyatt said something to toolmanmike, about leaving threads alone, and dropped an F bomb at him. I saw it immediately, asked him to edit it, which he did. That took all of two minutes. Mike then re-edited the post back to it's original form, and gave Wyatt a two week vacation.

Final straw was someone called someone else a bad name, and Wyatt said he didn't see Mike or Joey, and that was that.


Don't call out a mod if you don't want to get banned.
