I finally got some good pictures with my hardtop and my brother's NYer together.
Met a guy at a local car show that has a ‘68 300… convertible no less. We went for a cruise this weekend together. First picture I have ever had with my ‘68 next to another one (mine is the blue one).
here are some pictures i have from back in the mid 90's are the 3 i had. sadly i was not smart enough to keep all of them. only the 2dr remains.
Would love to see more pics of the 2 dr, it's just like the one my folks had. It inspired me to buy the one I have now:
Is that color Turbine Bronze Metallic?
It's Turbine Bronze Acrylic Enamel, don't think it's metallic, though. Paint code MM.
Sure looks to be metallic, and Turbine Bronze was a metallic paint. It may also be referred to as "poly" which was short for "polychromatic". That is a fancy name for metallic paint.
I wish my MM1 parts car wasn't a roached out POS, it would have been a stunner.
Took it for an outing today after adjusting the timing yesterday, she runs like a top.
Mike66Chryslers, thanks for the additional info on the paint!
67Newport, thanks for the additional pics, that's an awesome car!
I'm adding a couple pictures of the converted A/C system on my Monaco to celebrate finally repairing some cooling issues after a four month delay!
I've been working on my 68 New Yorker all summer (and the past 7 years)rebuilding, tuning, cleaning and buffing. Here are a couple of recent pics.
Wow! That's a beauty!!
Just had a nice one roll up for a distributor upgrade..
MM1 Turbine Bronze is a metallic paint.
Did mine in base clear..not cheap but looks great!
