I searched for posts about this subject before posting. Newest post I could find was 2018. Anyone have any experiences or knowledge they can share? Does it work? Worth the investment of a machine?

Thanks,
Ron

YouTube has many videos that could better answer your questions. I've watched a few, and to touch on your questions, yes they definitely work! And I recall one of the uploaders saying that the machine he was using cost 50,000$, plus upgraded wiring to the machine, and apparently they suck back the juice like there's no tomorrow.

It's working and it's worth it, especially on delicat parts!
But it's not worth buying your one machine since they cost 20k and more.

Here are examples of what I had laser cleaned.

Which parts would you like to get laser cleaned?

In my opinion, it's not neccessary for every part, only delicate parts like the interior trim pieces I had leser cleaned for example.
They are thin metal and would have warped badly when media blasting them and because of the stamped in structure, you can't strip them mechanically.

But most other parts can better be media blasted or even acid dipped to get rid of paint and rust.
