Old Man with a Hat
So Princess Auto (Harbour Freight in the US) has .75” white LED’s on sale a 10 pack for $15
I have had the pleasure of searing my arms in the past if I left the door open for any period of time
I thought it would be nice to convert to LED so this was a great time to do this
I used 3 of the button lights and made up a plate to insert into the body of the light housing
They operate on 12vdc each so I wired them up in parallel
Each led draws .3 watts which is a big relief on the system
The light is great with next to no heat generated after 10 minutes
I accidentally deleted the pics of the plate and building of the plate itself
Here is the results and it can be removed if the next custodian wants to burn their arm off
