There was a guy selling books, with a 4 door Fury doing big top end.
I can't find the link, any help?

I found a 63 Fury Super Stock doing 195.97 in 1963

this 65 dodge coronet flew at daytona , and my 65 880 rag with 2.97 r/e with a 130k on its 383 sig erson solid cam'd with that twin fours setup headers through 2 1/2 out the back . would peg the speedo in second , yes 120 @ 6k , then third would pull the nose up and that speedo wrapped down and round , it could do 140 easy , and run there as well .

Nice video and glad you found it. I remember seeing that one too.

Yea wanted to show someone, I posted it last year.
My memory is good but short.
He's running that motor over 5500 rpms, wonder if he's running a stock oil pan,
Surprised he isn't a member here.

Comments are open on you tube. Ask him there.

Nice tight suspension on that black car. Traction Master traction bars hanging from the front of the leaf springs?

Thanks for finding that link!

When I was a kid, my 66 Fury III with a 318 topped out at 105.. wouldn't move the needle past that. a year or two later I had my 67 Sport Fury with a 383 at 115,,, with a bunch yet to go, but the air flow was picking the front end up. Got smart after that. No more speeding.

Yea I thought somewhere I seen that car's underhood shot and that it had dual quads, or I might be all wrong.

Those traction bars are interesting, pretty impressive running car for sure
I sent him a message inviting him to come here.
