question.... 1968 Newport.... are the front lower ball joints removable from the steering arm, or are they a non removable part of the steering arm that requires the replacement of the arm? Thanks.

removable as an assembly, leaving the lower control arm in place. the ball joints themselves are part/parcel of the arm........ much like this one.

Agreed, pretty quick and painless.
After looking at my parts manual, it looks like it might be fairly easy. I had the front suspension apart to recondition the front brakes, a couple weeks ago, and wish I had done the steering and suspension while it was apart.... dumb mistake.

You didn't call me , so you either got Chineseum , or you paid too much .......

If anyone returns a set of Moog lowers at Carlisle this year, keep them for me!

Hey Scott / Locumob,
You got it !!! I find a set -- or if they find me !!! -- they're yours....
Stay warm there in Minnesota, we are having brutal weather here in the Northeast, but nothing like what the Midwest is having right now.
The famous Fargo, North Dakota --- Minus 46 !!!!
