Hey guys, I am still working on the brakes of my son's 1965 Imperial Crown.
I bought a master cylinder that is a dual reservoir from a 67 New Yorker I believe.
To my knowledge the ports on it are supposed to be 1/2-20 in the back and 9/16-18 in the front.
The hardware I have is "supposed" to be the same.
The fitting for the rear turns right in and tightens up like it's supposed to.
The fitting for the front turns in a little ways then stops like it has the wrong thread pitch.
Can anyone confirm the size and thread pitch that is supposed to fit the front port on this thing?

9/16-18 doesn't quite sound right. I'm thinking it's 9/16-20 but I could be very wrong. Give me a few to wander out to the garage and I will check.

I do know that NAPA had some short lines with the correct fittings on them, but that was a while ago...

You don't need the distribution block, but having done a couple conversions, it's a very coinvent way of getting the plumbing going in the right directions.
 
Yeah, the fitting I have just doesn't fit right.
The specs on the page I bought it from say the port is a 9/16-18.

9/16-20 This is checking my bleeder tubes (salvaged ~45 years ago from some car I scrapped)

I knew I had also heard it and remembered where.... Ram Man says 9/16 -20


BTW, for all the questionable products/service, he did put out a couple good videos on brakes. This is one that covers some basics.
