He is firm on that price:laughing4:

It's probably already sold...never understood how beaten shells of muscle cars are worth more than a really nice C body.

Since I'm not selling any of my cars anymore........I'm kind of glad C-Body prices are on the bottom .......I can buy more of them.

Screw that....buy a one owner 70' Newport/Fury/Polara with intact 383 drive train for less than that and have just as much fun. Logic is long gone in the E&B world. That's exactly why I love my ol' C body.

Ahh the old hang your trans from the wiper motor trick.

O.K. B body guys, I always thought you couldnt get the 383 in the 500 in 1970......

1969 was the 440 or 426 Hemi only.

1970 you could get a slant 6 in a Charger 500.
You could get 318's, 383's, 440's, and the Hemi also.

My brother and I found a 1970 Charger 500 for sale for $999.99 in the summer of 1976. The owner said it was a big block. We went to go look at it and planned to buy it. We thought they only had 440's or a Hemi in the 500. We were shocked to see a 318. We bought a 1969 Dodge Charger 383 for $450. The car was for another brother.

I wish I could buy a running 69 Charger for $450 today. LOL!!!

It's amazing to see a rusted out B Body selling for a $10-15k that would be relegated as a $500 parts car if it was a C-Body.

Its a crazy world. I came across a 73' 340 Cuda a few years after I got my drivers license.....it was decked out to the nines....even had the overhead console with working indicators..on a used car lot in Mt Holly Nj alongside some Nissans and Toyotas. I should have grabbed it...but was severely cash poor...and dad wouldn't loan me the dough for a dangerous "hotrod" that I would end up killing myself in...I should have sold some blood and limbs to get that car.

Decent 1973-74 Challengers/Cuda's are going for $20k+ these days.

I remember when '63 Corvettes hit the $25k mark and I thought the end of the world was near.

This was beyond decent....no "visible" rust....immaculate "pleather" seats...nice dash....had factory stripes...I think it was $5999. Kicking myself still.

That would be one hell of a deal today!

There was one in Vineland, on a lot, I drove it, they wanted about ten grand. I passed, that was about 1993.

Just after I bought my 69 sport fury rag in 1988 a Challenger convertible was in the local paper for 5995.00, Orange white top, white interior. A week later I saw that car driving up Kings Highway in Mt Ephraim with four girls in it.......
