Thanks to all that helped with the search for the wheel studs. This is my Monaco. 383/727 A/C power steering drum brakes all around. The story that was told to me when I bought this was that a gentleman bought the car new for his wife.( I have a copy of the original title) It was driven for a short time until the drivers side was damaged while being backed out of the garage. After that the car was parked beside the garage and not drove again until 2015-2016. I bought the car in May of 2017 and it has been on the back burner until now. I am needing some help with the figuring out the build sheet and the fender tag. Who would I need to get in contact with for help with this?

Thanks
Andrew

Tbm3fan. The build sheet was in the plastic sleeve with the owners manual and warranty book. I have not went on a search for another one yet.

LocoMob.
I have looked on MyMopar but I still have some questions. For example line 8 section J all that is marked is j25 3 speed wipers and j55 under hood mat. The car has a cigar lighter j15 and a glove box lock j15. Dual exhaust n41 not marked but I have them m33 body side moldings have them also. Or am I just reading this completely wrong?
Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
Andrew.

Not everything on the broadcast sheet will be on the fender tag. The online decoders (and some codes) aren't always accurate, that's where your broadcast sheet comes in, and provides further detail onto what options the car came with. So no, you aren't reading it wrong. The sheet will have all the options, the tag will only have some of the options.

Nice car! Here is the tag decode:

I'm guessing you have the Light Package, which gave you a number of light options, they are the codes just to the right, under the L section. If you had only ordered a cigar lighter it would probably have been under the J section. I'm only guessing, as I'm more educated on the '66 style sheet, which is similar, but different. Someone will probably chime in on this in a few hours.

You could be right. Could all of those options be part of the high price class? I would figure that dual exhaust would have been checked from what I can tell it looks like the original dual exhaust is still on the car.

Thanks again

As I suspected, the car came with the lights as standard equipment, so they weren't an option, as they would be on the car no matter what.

Here's a link to the brochure on the Hamtramck historical site. Dive in to that reference pile! (It can be a wormhole you can't escape from!)

Nice 69! @David1907 is not too far from you in Kansas City. He has a yellow 71 Polara Sedan. Itd be cool to see you guys get the cars together sometime.

I have a green 69 as well...

Here's where my mind was coming from, if you had a Polara, you would have gotten the light package, as an option. Like you said, the higher trim line had those as standard.

Nice looking ride. Just from looking at the pics there doesn't seem to be too much damage. What are your plans for the car?

Mfury68 thanks. I’ll post more pics as I work on the car.

Fratzog. The care is in good shape other than a couple of small rust holes at the bottom of the fenders. Tye carpet was dry rotted and fell apart when I tried to vacuum it so I’ll have to replace that. The plan is to get it on the road and drive it !! I do not want a trailer queen that I am afraid to drive. I want a car to enjoy with my wife and the kids.

Nice looking car. The "dual exhaust" would not be an option, but a part of the "H" engine code option, I believe. Horsepower in a C-body would be "330". The only place I've documented the "335" horsepower motor (and related camshaft) is in the B/E body cars that would be: Road Runners, 'Cudas, Super Bees, Challenger R/T models. But from my experience with my '70 Monaco Brougham 383/330 Code "N" motor, it'll run pretty dang good on the road. BOTH 383 4bbl engines were termed "High Performance" in the literature, though.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info. If the motor in this one is any thing like the 383 that was in my 66 fury 3 I don’t think I’ll have any problems. I do have another question on the build sheet in line 3 engine has 903 marked. Will you please enlighten me on what that is if you know? I also noticed today that one of the valve covers also has a faint 903 written on it.

Thanks again
