My formal for sale...

Thanx. It’s really a great car but i gotta thin the heard. Between it and my wagoneer... the jeeps a little more fun.

"Up for grabs is my head-turning, gas-drinking Colossus. The fantabulous 78 Chrysler New Yorker Salon. This has been my for real daily driver since May of last year. I went to Fort Worth last month and Lawton last week. Currently has over 105k on it. We go everywhere together. I've put around 4K miles on it since I've owned it. Has the 440/727. Ac is cold and converted to 134. Heat is hot. Has a new radiator. Windows are 5% on the sides and 40% on the windshield. Tires are in great shape. Lean burn spark box has been deleted and converted to regular Mopar electronic ignition. Needs the carb replaced as who ever did it put a brand new lean burn Thermoquad on it so it runs lean. Still runs fine but it's lacking the available passing power. Seats are straight from Jude n Jody n Sons. Soooo comfy button tuck like a mom hugging you as a baby when you sit in em. Will be getting it's oil change and tire rotation this weekend. Mileage will differ as I'll keep driving it. I'm selling this because I got my Wagoneer running reliably and want to make it my daily. That, and I have a dozen vehicles. Don't get me wrong, it needs things but nothing cray."

Hey @75LandYacht

Enough chatter boys, come at me with an offer! Hehe
You've been here long enough... the chatter keeps the thread up top and visible... I'd offer you all of my play money right now, but you'd be pissed if I did.

It’s not like I’m leaving c-bodies forever.... I mean I still have a forward look and a AHB diplomat. That’s close right?

Ill get another New Yorker but it will be a two door, st Regis top, and no skirts. That one in Finland is dope!!!

Saw you posted it up on EBay..... best of luck with the sale!

Nice Salon!

Had I not just bought my NYB..... I would have been tempted. In fact, if it had the grey leather..... we’d be talking trade.

Haha thanx. I really need to free up some space and I thought it would be a good time to list it being tax time and all. I still suspect it won’t reach $2k but I may be surprised.

Sorry man, these EB pics are much better than the CL pics. I had the impression from the others that the rust issues at the quarters and dog legs was much worse.

I am 100% out of room for her, but if I had more play money and didn't already have a couple others on the serious want list, I'd have sent you a PM offer already.

I'd vote on getting rid of the Eagle first, but it's probably easier to find parts for.

Haha I hated that eagle when I first got it. Once I got the carb ironed out (replace with motor craft) it really endeared itself to the family

Meant to ask. Or maybe it’s been answered in a prior post. Does she have ATCII or manual air? And Does the heat work?
