Since I have no C body to share, you can follow along with me putting my Barracuda back together and making it to the track this year at Norwalk Oh.

Quick recap is 440 mounted with elephant ears fender well headers( reason for the giant holes in fender aprons), manual reverse v.b. with ? converter, we will see when its running, 4.10 suregrip. Best case scenario is I have to short shift it to stay above 11.50 because there is no bar in it yet. Chris I apologize before hand for the body work, and any glaring errors feel free to mention most of the big sections you see are very thin to smooth out the last dimples I could not get out with hammer and dolly. The right rear 1/4 was smashed in above the wheel about 3" it was cut out and a skin was welded in most of that is just to blend the welded section, but over top of the wheel the contour of the skin was not as defined as I wanted so that is being built out some. The pic of the Charger is for Big Blubbs he wanted to see.

That the cut off per rule book. 11.5 quarter mile & 7.50 eighth mile. Quicker than that & you have have safety equipment. Much of it date & snell rating

10.99 is the next jump after 11.49. If the car runs fast enough I'll put a bar in but not this year as you can see I have enough on my plate.

You could be right Stan. I have a bar in mine so that never comes up. They find other things to write me up on. The most recent thing was I don't wear a fire jacket, so they make me put on a long sleeve shirt

Sweet! Looking forward to this! Whats the story on the charger??

Wanna do some B body trading Dave?? LOL

68 Charger I found trucking in Titusville Pa. guy bought it off the internet and was way worse when it showed up at his front door I happened along left my info and he called 4-5 months later. Originally a 383-2bbl a/c car has a 318 in it now does not run, will be a 440 4speed shortly. I put floors and connectors in it now need to start hanging all the sheet metal I've collected.

So, I gather the the Formal you want will be 100% turnkey... :D

Kool project, gladly follow along.

Holy crap can't believe I have not done much to this but.....
I made my super Sunday better. Positioned and drilled for scoop then a new coat of primer to continue blocking it.

I cant believe i missed this thread Most of Been...

Awesome Car Dave . whats the Storie on the hood again? Did you just remove some of the under frame?

Looking good. What's next on the agenda?

I made a list of some ares that still need attention, and the right rear 1/4 panel needs some fine tuning on the body line around the wheel lip, concave area is too wide (damn cheap *** replacement panels).Original was smashed and looked like tinfoil with a thousand holes from some a..hole with a dent puller. I'm going to guide coat it and get a image of low spots, there is a lot of little door dings down each side, so some high build primer down each side and sand, sand sand.
