My new ‘64 Imperial convertible

I say use the entire pan from the parts car. By the time the interior ,dash and rear is pulled it's nothing but body panels. And that's all good salvageable parts that can live on.
If there is a guy out there that is serious enough to build the parts car, he is probably reading this thread.

I agree.

So I took 15 minutes and gently scrubbed the rear seat bottom and it’s even better than I expected.:thankyou:

1 KG = 23 Fahrenheit X 17 ounces plus 3 feet divided by the square root of a yard

or easier: a bag of weed you bought in the 1970s that actually weighed 12 ounces

when I'm in Mexico 4 things I am always converting in my head:

weight: kilos to pounds

temperature: Fahrenheit to Celsius

money: Mexican peso to dollar

speed: kilometers to miles

and in my many travels to Vietnam

VND to dollar currently 22,964.50 to one dollar

I went into a Maserati dealership in Hanoi They had 2 cars One had a price on it

It had about 10 digits in it in VND 8,084,343,700

I asked the saleslady how much in dollars something like 350 K dollars

good luck driving there at anything over 40 MPH unless you were at the airport on the runway

Before I get busy on cutting out any floors on either car I had to finish some other things I had started on the ‘64. One thing I don’t like is having too many different projects going on the same car at once and I wanted to do the floor work with the top down so I finished swapping out convertible top latch and the wide stainless trim at the front of the top. Both were nicer from the ‘66 parts car.

Here it is put back together with the ‘66 trim piece. Now I can put the top down. :)

I also ordered a new top weatherstrip set from Quirey along with 14’ of light blue windlace.

Now that I took time to look at the floors in the ‘64 again I’m happy to say that the driver’s side aren’t near as bad as I was thinking they were. I’m only going to take what I need on that side.
