Very nice Is that a key operated alarm on the front fender?

Wow I don’t believe so. Was that an option? I have a 72 imperial as well and it doesn’t. Very interesting though I only got this car a couple days ago.

At one time, some Coirvettes had that (key-on-the-lh front-fender-actuated alarm system) as a factory option. Sometime in the earlier-to-mid 1970s. Otherwise, it could also be had as an aftermarket accessory item for any vehicle. See if there are any wires going to it and where they might go.

    Congrats!

Nice Imperial!! I've had Newports, New Yorker, and a 300 over the years but it's on my bucket list to someday own an Imperial. Best of luck with your new car

Awesome looking car! Post more pics of interior, engine bay, etc, when you get a chance.

Nice rides and welcome aboard. From what I see here, you Imperial owners can’t own just one. Lol! :D

I love them because you just don’t see them! Also being 6’7” you can’t beat the leg room and comfort! I’m a New Yorker fan too!! Hahaha 1DDCE21D-3F54-4918-9905-B4798A95E263.jpeg

Thanks I really appreciate that! I wish they would start doing more shows on these big 4 door cars.

Maybe it's time for those who love these cars to start their own show?

My friend Bob Ashton started the MCACN show back in 2009 with backing from friends who believed as he did that such a show would be a hit

Perhaps there are those who could start a "luxury" car event, must be lots of potential?

I totally agree ! I’m so tired of watching tv with same cars basically muscle cars and even own some muscle cars too ! Honestly these big luxury cars are better made higher quality cars in my opinion!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record: you should watch Mannix. Plenty of C-bodies in there.
