Just brought her back from Indiana. 70k miles. My brother put on the wheels and tires from his 78 Road runner.

Trying out some pinstripes.

She needs a little work but is going to be a lot of fun.

Yeah that's the one. I'll get some more pictures up this weekend.

Congrats, enjoy this beautiful 383-2 Newport in good health!

For those interested, here is the FCBO sales thread for CE23G9C160090. I am pretty sure that @amazinblue82 will add your "before" and "after" pictures to his thread on wheel choices.

Actually those aftermarket wheels really do work on the car with the black/white combo.

Now that you said that, I looked again. I was reminded that I never have liked the body side molding on the '69s. I prefer the clean side of the '70 Chryslers. (I know there were some exceptions.)

Got the temporary tags in today, finally got to drive her up to the gas station in town. Carb was acting up when we picked her up but fresh gas and some carb cleaner seem to be helping. Thought I would up load a few more pictures.
Here is the engine bay with the air cleaner off.

Cleaned up the interior.

Cleaning out the console I found a can of touch up paint from Earl Schibe, so now I understand why there is overspray everywhere and the body work on the rear quarters is so bad.
One weird thing is she has a power disc brake petal but the brakes are all drums and the fender codes say nothing about disc breaks.

One more pic of her inside the shop. Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty so I will try to get some more pictures then.

Nice score. Love them 69’s

Nice car, congratulations and enjoy. Have you found the build sheet for the car? That looks like a Power Disc master cylinder but it also looks like it may have been replaced. I can't imagine someone would have swapped from discs to drums and it's possible someone swapped the pedals because they wanted the chrome trim. Have you looked for the build sheet?

B41/B511 is the Power Disc for 69.

Same on the fender tag, B41 but I've heard the fender tag "rarely" has mistakes but it did happen.

My experience is that the power disc master cylinder had the spring cap retainer like yours and mine but the power drum cylinder had one bolt in the middle like this one.

Here's the fender tag from this parts car.

Update, Just to be clear, I was not picking at your car, anomalies interest me so when you mentioned your pedals I was very interested, When I looked at this car when it was for sale, I assumed it was power discs. I love your car. I think the booster and master cylinder on your car are for drums. That's a drum brake booster and a replacement drum brake master cylinder. Power master cylinders have a larger rear reservoir that feeds the front discs, your master cylinder has the same size reservoirs front and back.

Hey no problem. I was curious about that anomaly too, and found the discussion from when it was for sale. Haven't gone looking for the build sheet yet, but I will post a picture of the fender tag later.

Is the car an early build before January 1969? Wonering since there are no headrests and not mentioned on the sales sheet.
She does have the towing package with HD brakes, suspension and 3.23 gears.
