----Jeff, (cantflip), and I set up the FCBO head quarters out behind the ladys s**t house on Thursday. You "no shows" missed out on a fun weekend. The "Cajin" party on Friday was a blast.... Lots of great food provided by "Big Easy Mopars" from New Orleans. Cooked on site.
Included a live band and a comp bar. Plus the obligatory Hurricane cooler.
I was able to locate a couple of nice items for the Polara and a cool set of slotted mag's to complete my set.

Car show was OK. Not to good for a purest like me. The things some folks do to a nice car is painful.
Some pictures...... I apologize for the pic quality. Most of the cars were displayed on a dirt floor under a huge, poorly lighted, open sided pavilion.

And finally. There were more vehicles in the show. I didn't shoot pics of the metrics.

I thought this 47 Dodge pickup was the nicest vehicle in the show. And sure enough, it received "Best of show". The last photo shows the "bad news".

OH..... How's this for a pot of fresh seafood Jambalaya...? The rest of the menu consisted of Red beans & rice. Succulent, tender Roast beef po-boys and, of course, King Cake.

That 47 would be nice with a 5.7 HEMI not a geriatric motor.
    And now I'm hungry!

This yellow 71 Super Bee comes with an interesting story. It belongs to Paul Reynolds, president of Big Easy Mopars. The car was in the garage under his home in NOLA when Katrina hit. The car and his home were under 15 feet of brackish water for two weeks. Paul has restored it to better then new.

Thanks for sharing the pictures and sparking a few memories. I had Ansen Sprint wheels on my '67 Belvedere back in high school. Still one of my favorites.
