Mystery wheel?

Got a pair of these mystery wheels today.
There junk condition,with a odd pattern?
I never seen these before, Can someone ID? Manafactor.
I'm thinking maybe VW?

With that large five bolt pattern, early VW is the only thing that comes to mind. Surely aftermarket. Are they cast aluminum?

They cast aluminum/steel combo wheel. 15in either a SR on center cap or some sort of rocket fins?

That definitely looks like the 5x205 bolt pattern of old VW/Porsche/karmann ghia. I don't recognize those particular wheels, but I'm also not a VW guy, I just have a friend who is. As long as they are not badly bent or chipped they most likely are not just scrap. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but that center looks like a true magnesium wheel. Or it could just be dirty aluminum. I'd suggest looking to the old VW/Porsche/karmann ghia crowd, you might have some gold, or at least a spare wheel, that someone has been looking for.
