Rusted out driver side brake line only let loose the other day while trying to get my brakes working. Right stuff and Summit sold out of them looks like. Make my own or what is easy way just to temporarily seal that brake line off to the wheel cylinders to move the car some so I have brakes on the other 3 wheels. Dont have the brake flare tools or anything.

Bend the line over and smash it flat. May not seal 100%, but should be good enough to move the car.

www.inlinetube.com should be able to fix you up.

If you aren't going to do anything besides move it in the yard, and NOT out on the road, you can find a 3/16 compression fitting with a pipe thread like this...

Or this...

Then you find the matching pipe plug or cap. Cut the line so there's enough sticking out to get the compression fitting on... Or even grab a new piece of pre-made line and cut it so you can use the compression fitting.

Of course, NEVER, EVER under any other circumstance where the car is actually going to be driven, should you use a compression fitting on a brake line. This is a TEMPORARY fix.

if it's just temporary, i've folded the line over itself, smashed it flat with a hammer and put vice-grips on it to seal it off. of course the brakes will be weak and probably leak but you can move it around your yard.
