The second picture is the somewhat common (to me) Midland-Ross booster that was used on a huge amount of 1965-1967 (maybe as late as 1968) C-body cars with drum brakes. At the time, they were common as everything. This was also back when the power front disc brake cars had the similar, but longer, dual diaphram boosters.
In some cases, Chrysler did use a different drum brake booster, as I recall seeing in the FSMs. Different manufacturer, BUT the same master cylinder. Which means that as long as the master cylinder is there, the booster than runs the master cyl might be variable. Goes in the same place, same function, bolts to the same bolt holes in the cowl, etc.
Please remember that rather than to go by the word of others, you can invest some time in some Factory Service Manual investigations.
www.MyMopar.com has the factory service manuals for free download. Takes minutes. Plymouth, Dodge, and Chrysler FSMs. THAT can be your best source of information in this area. THEN you'll know what you have and are looking for.
A secondary source of information can be
www.RockAuto.com. Pictures of the items, plus charts on model, model year, and brand usage of each part they sell.
Between BOTH sources, you can generally get things pinpointed very well, as to usage and such.
Enjoy!
