I would post this on the correct message board, but that is dead af...

It's a 2001 Grand Caravan ES with a 3.8L and autostick. With 108k miles fwd

The only mechanical issue i currently have is my idle speed power steering it's like non existing until i get some rpm's up, I've already replaced the PS pump and reservoir. Only thing i didn't replace is the rubber flex lines feed and return. I'm not yet ready to drop another around $1000 to get the rack and pinion replaced and yes i did use the correct fluid in the system (ATF+4)

The bonus thing it has, freeze me out ice cold front and rear ATC

I would check the lines to the rack for kinks etc. At 108k it probably is due for new lines anyway.

The check valve in the rack may not be working properly. I have found Lucas power steering additive works wonders on sluggish racks and noisy pumps.
My Taurus had a leaky and noisy pump. Used maybe 1/4 bottle and problem solved.

So i would have to use the automatic transmission fluid additive since it only uses atf+4 fluid
