Hello everyone, I've been a member of the Drydock for a few years and a lurker here. This is a great site and I'm glad to finally join. I have a 68 Fury fasttop that I've been working on for a while although it's been on hold for a couple of years. Got the brake swap done and most of the other mechanicals ready to go so hopefully it will be on the road this summer. In the meantime I picked up a 73 Imperial, which is where the name comes from. I love huge cars lol. It ended up being in really nice shape so that will be the next project...

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! You're here, now lets see some pics!

Welcome...

My 73 Imperial also came from Tampa. They must just be sitting around down there.

Thanks everyone, here's a couple of pics.

The Fury is a 383 auto with ps,pb,pw,ac, black interior. Pretty much rust free. Of course the green ones always seem to survive :). Just trying to figure out which way to go with wheels and tires. The Imperial actually came out of Nebraska and is rust free as well. I haven't seen any others in my neck of the woods yet which is kind of cool.

That is a beautiful Imperial! Where are the wheelcovers?

Both cars are awesome! But my Imperial blood runs pretty thick so I have to go with the 73 as my favorite of the two. Helps to that I had one years back. They are AWESOME. Welcome to the site.

Thanks guys, I'll get some updated pics of the 68 soon. The caps for the Imp are in the trunk, they're in really nice shape. Just need some white wall tires. Since the pic was taken I put on the rear wheel opening trim. I need to get going on the rusty fuel tank and brake booster to start. Then I need to tackle the auto temp system. Can't wait to drive that car!
