There is the problem I have read about here. The aftermarket stuff is hit or miss and some use a device to calibrate it etc. Lots of problems I have read. Don't throw away your lock ring!!! The new ones are crap apparently and too soft to make a good seal.
I am sure people will chime in.
Since I have never done this myself yet but I remember hearing good things about this shop from this forum. But do wait for the guys that have gone through this to chime in.
Got a badly performing fuel sender that is impossible to find a replacement for? Then box up your old one and send it to the techs at Bob's Speedometer to find out just what they can do to get your existing sender back in top notch working condition.
