Howdy,

My name is Chris, I live in Del Rio, Tx with my dog Bullitt.

I have several Ramcharger trucks ('76 440/727 4x4) is my fav) also half interest in a '69 Charger 383/4sp (my brother is the other half)

I don't own a C body (yet) but I am looking, there are few floating around here. Just found a '69 Polara 2dr Hardtop 318 2bbl. Nothing too special not even sure if it is for sale. Interior is wasted, severely cracked dash, ripped up seats, might be missing driver's door glass. Little rust from a quick 10 second scan!

I look forward to getting smart on C bodies!

Cheers

Chris

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of knowledge guys here. I learned tons here and was very green on C-bodies just 2 years ago.

Welcome Chris. Make sure to log in daily because all the interesting cars for sale out there usually get discussed here.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Love the Ramchargers too so you might as well post up some pics of those while you're at it.

Welcome, pictures are always good, I loaded a husband and wife out of there and moved them to Detroit of all places that must have been some change from Del Rio Tx.

Welcome aboard. You have come to the best source of information regarding C Bodies. Any pics of your Ramchargers and Bullit? BTW Ramcharger Turbines look pretty good on C Bodies.

Welcome and as Stan pointed out all C bodies for sale anywhere in the known universe get a mention here which is a great learning opportunity as the car / options / problems are discussed in detail frequently

You will get a fell of prices and the types of car produced and what's out there

And you may find the car for you that you would otherwise not know was for sale

Let's see some Ramcharger pics now :)

Piic 1. My long suffering '87 RC (318, A999. 2wd 2.93 diff ratio. '69 Charger 383 A833.Yes it is a horrible tow set up but I went slow <50mph and it was a "no-money-have--to-get-to-new-job-moving thing

pic 3 Bullitt from a few years ago, she is a lab/german shorthair/american husky mix. she is now 11.5 years and a 2+ year cancer survivor, love her to death!

Well there is a '69 two door hardtop Polara 3182bbl sitting forlorn and neglected behind a trans rebuild place near me. I haven't caught the shop owner yet to,see if he/owner wants to part with it.

it is rouuuuuuuuuugh! I assume the trans is shot (easy to fix) but the interior is a mess. I am really only concerned with the dash, probably has about 40 cracks in it!

Cheers

Hi Chris. We are a group of C body lovers who also share interest in a wide range of all things Mopar. Sounds like you'll fit right in.

You need to study the Cbody market a little before jumping in. The values are not like the B & E bodys, or even the forward look cars. You can get a lot more car in a Cbody then you will with the others, for the same money. We are drivers and users. Not many trailer queens around here.

Keep in touch ....... and we like pictures of any kind of Mopar.

Will.

Howdy BlueFury,

IF(!) I go after that Polara it will just be a cruiser for tailgating or just to drive low, cool and fast! (318 will need help!).

definately not an ivestment and given the state if it I'm inclined to offer maybe 500-800. dollars.

Cheers

Chris

Love the dog!!! Try to avoid rust in your first c-body. My first one, 69 Monaco, was rusty and the body shop turned it into a money pit. Hope you find what you're looking for. Ben
