I'm just blown away by how many new members join here.
This is the only site I'm on that actually makes a new member speak up and say something.
I had no idea when it made me make my first post. Slick idea. At least gets people to interact once.
Anyway, there is a ton of people that join on a daily basis.
Is there a moderator, administrator or censor that could tell me how many people on average join every day or every week.

Also interesting about this site is that I don't get replies from things like this thread. On other sites I'd get all kinds of opinions. But here it is such a different grouping of mopar enthusiasts that Yal think very differently than the other mopar body sites.
I'm still blown away by how many members join on a daily basis.
I'm writing to myself. Blah blah blah. At least I can understand my blahhing.
Anyway, I really enjoy this site. Wish it was back to it's hayday a year or two ago. Maybe some of these new members will actually start talking about stuff.

I have noticed this also. Im thinking that the C body crowd would tend to be a bit older and less likely to be into the Facebook groups. I myself prefer a good car forum style over a Facebook style. More info to be shared here.

C Body lovers are more sophisticated.... just like our cars!

I appreciate how well we moderate ourselves. I don’t think this group is any less opinionated than other groups, but those opinions just stay in the threads that deserve them.

what I have enjoyed the most over the few years I have been here is that when I genuinely ask for help, I get very genuine and and very good advice.

I don't believe they all are real. I'm cynical, the owner makes them up to increase membership numbers, better for sponsors.
Like, "mark threads as read". Why that? It makes the site appear to have more traffic.
I could easily be wrong but too many join never to be heard from again.

I had not thought about it being the owner or management adding folks to increase club size. That does make sense.
I figured it was some bots who will turn on over periods of time. But that many bots doesn't make sense so perhaps it's a combination of many factors.
Depending upon where the money comes from it would not surprise me if the club owners are doing it to get more funding for their web pages. Especially sense everything is run by the almighty dollar apparently. And with the nefarious Censoring going on, I would not put it past our liberal owners ethics and morals to do such a thing.

New member here, I really like the vast amount of knowledge and experience of this forum and especially the willingness to help new members like myself. This kind of information has been invaluable to me as most of it isn't in my FSM.

On the main page, it tells how many people are on the site at the moment, it even breaks it down to members, guests, and bots.

Edit: I checked, no more bot numbers on FCBO.

FABO does though.

Interesting. I wonder how it knows the bots are bots. And why would they keep em? Do they keep em just so they don't get more of them?
