It was a perfect weekend for a road trip to New Orleans and a car show. I left pretty early on Saturday on a foggy morning. Not as early as intended due to a Friday adventure with Jeff, (cantflip), but that's another story.
It's about 180 miles to NOLA. Skies cleared about half way through Mississippi, sun came out and the rest of the trip was glorious. A good turn out at the show. Lots of fun and friends. The BEMA folks know how to make the best of any situation. No Friday event this year.
I drove back along US 90, along the Gulf coast top down until it got dark and cooled down. The Polara didn't miss a lick.

A few pictures.

It was very good and a variety of cars for sure. Hope to have mine able to go to Alabama next month

Did a lot of bench racing with Herb McCandless. It was amazing how many times we had crossed path's racing in 69 70. We knew a lot of the same people. Good stories.

Very nice sounds like good times. This is where I'm at so far. It's just a driver but I like it
