I have finally got tired of cruising around with no tunes. My car does have the original am radio it lights up but no sound and me not wanting to cut up a untouched dash came up with a cheap solution.
Being that I'm a truck driver I had a old Cobra cb that no longer worked so with a little modification it now houses my Kenwood CD player. So what you do is acquire a junk cobra 29 CD then open the case and remove
the face and circuit board from the chassis. Next take your modern stereo and mount the cb chassis around the stereo then assemble the cases back to the chassis. Lastly use the cb mounting bracket on the bottom of the dash and mount.
