I love it. Most of the pictures I have not seen. My '70 Fury III is somewhere in those pictures. Wow, all of those cars are worth 5x now.

I've been to the Washington State Archives and I have hi-res scans of all of their images of Washington State Patrol cars. It was over 2,000 scans. They used a large format Black and White camera so the scans came out beautiful. An example, brand new 1962 Chrysler WSP Cars. They tested 4 "Heavy Cars" along with four Mercs and four Pontiacs. They went with Ford in 63 so I guess they liked the big cars?

Ya Peter I bet you were in heaven seeing all those shiny white 70 Furys!! I always liked those black centered wheel covers, Even had them on my dads 63 Plymouth back in the 70s.

Notice one thing, none of the pictures have the vinyl roof stainless molding that goes along the back of the car, wraps around to the other side back door.

WSP cars didn't have the vinyl roof trim because they were mono-tone paint. Only two tone cars got the trim, like a CHP car where you has the break between the black and white.

Well my car did have a vinyl roof and the stainless trim. I had GG check the build sheet and the car did not have a vinyl roof so I had the auto body guy grind off the rivet looking heads and discarded the trim. Another oddity is the car had several antenna size holes on the roof and rear quarters. Seven is the number that comes to mind. Another reason I wish I could of obtained more history of the car by the WSP.

So that 70 Fury l I posted the pic of is rotted pretty bad. Missing the 140 the driver door and rear bumper been sitting on the ground for 20 year's. Has a later 60s 383 guy said it RAN WHEN PARKED!!! Wants 750 for it has a title he let me grab a few things off of it but I might still buy it when the WI weather gets better.

yes it may be too far gone with out puttig more into it than u willever c out of it?if the frame is as far gone as the rest of the car it may not be saveable(to make it into a safe car for the rosd thars what i look @!)

You've got some good parts there, grab the battery heat protector (sheet metal piece attached to the battery tray) and the fast idle lock when you get a chance, those are hard to find.

Thanks for the pictures and the info it appears to need a lot of help.
It does need a lot I'm hoping the 383 will fire up after so long. And get some part's for mine see what can be saved from it. Hoping with the U code maybe it's a SG diff.
