1965 Chrysler 300 L 2dr Hardtop - $17,950 - Santa Ana, California

CL Description
One owner car from 65' to 2016 totally original including paint and leather(not vinyl) interior,Rare last year 'L' model with 413 high horsepower edition, This car is an all-original always garaged and beautiful example and surprising how fast this big car moves out. Only 68,247 miles from day one and a car you just don't see that often, Come see it for yourself

1965 was a big year for Chrysler and the new look was popular so they sold a lot of car but the 'L' was expensive so there were only 440 convertibles and around 1000 hardtops $17,950

What a beauty! That red accent stripe is sharp. And I'm really starting to love the look of the unsilenced air cleaner! I think it looks better than the coveted dual snorkels.

Dual headrests, and yes those are leather seats.

Decent looking car, nice colors, but those WW tires gotta go! Would look much better with full-chrome Mag500s and standard WW tires.

Price is a bit optimistic, for that $$ the underhood needs cleaned up a bit, and ideally that single-pot MC should've gotten upgraded along the way. With the low mileage and appearance of that MC I smell 50-year-old brake hoses and seals.

I agree!
For the record, the 65 413 was available with the air cleaner shown.
Nothing special about it as it is similar to the same air cleaner used on slant six engines--just the base is different to fit the carb.

I've been told, it depended on what the plant had on hand
