The price seems a bit high to me but this thing is pretty mint.
Has a newer 440 in it but comes with the number matching 440.

    1970 Chrysler New Yorker - $7,500 - Oakville, Washington

    FB Description
I'm putting my 1970 Chrysler New Yorker for sale/trade. I got it out of North Dakota back in August, it's been sitting in a barn since 96 when it was parked, I got it home and put another 440 in it, I have the numbers matching 440 still. It runs and drives, but I haven't put a ton of miles on it, still needs some love. I don't really want to sell it but, life happens. I'm not really sure what it's worth so 7500k OBO is my starting number. The only trades I'd be interested in is another Mopar, I'd really like a 1957-60 Plymouth Fury, I don't want or expect a show car. Located in Oakville Wa.

I have never been able to understand why some people put that ugly window tint on an otherwise nice car. It is not even legal in a lot of states.

I agree that it looks ugly, but it's done it's part in protecting the interior and looks like it's been on there for a while since it's all broken down and turned purple.
The modern tint is sooo much better and you can get that clear ceramic tint that protects against the UV rays while also keeping it legal.

A detail shop can steam that stuff off in half an hour.

Move to Phoenix and you'll understand each time you get in your car in the summer. And summer here lasts 9 months.

    The key word being ugly.
That blueish black is the chintziest looking tint available. Looks like something from Pep Boys.
I’ve got 30% tint on my car but it doesn’t look as dark with the light interior and sunroof. Yes it protects the interior from the sun but also from prying eyes.

Ya, the owner maybe could've maybe spent more $$$ to get nicer tint on the windows. I won't pretend I know what the situation is so I'll reserve my judgement on that. I prefer 2dr fuselage cars (which are getting rare to see) this car isn't in too bad shape compared to some of the other rusty swiss cheese cars I've seen that w/asking price at the same amount or more.

In western Oregon, we do not usually get the intense sun. Still see lots of tinted windows in the inner city, gang bangers and drug dealers etc. trying to keep out of sight. There is an Oregon statute that makes it illegal to drive a car with dark window tints that prevent the occupants from being seen. Fine is $160, it was passed partly at the request of law enforcement to improve officer safety.

Love the color combo and white vinyl. Very clean car however - my personal opinion - I don’t think I could ever spend 7,500 for a SEDAN. Any sedan. A hardtop is a different story

Yeah, the limo tint or full black-out on a car in Detroit is a sure traffic stop late at night. An officer has to be able to see the driver and passenger.

I like it too (save for the tinting, and two extra doors). Nevertheless, $7500 might be pushing it a little. If that's his asking price, than that's his asking price.

I'm always confused when someone is selling a classic car because 'life happens', then almost immediately mentions what classic car trades they would consider.
