At the time of posting, this CL listing is 17 hours old.

1975 Plymouth Gran Fury Sedan - $1,199 - North Chesterfield, Virginia

CL Description

VIN: PH41K5D253795
This Old Plymouth has a very strong running 360 V8. Very low mileage, 81,133 Miles. This Plymouth had Automatic TorgueFlight Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM Radio, Vinyl Roof, Deluxe Wheel Covers, Fender Turn Signal indicators and factory carpeting. Plymouth in the day was one of the Low Priced Three, Ford, Chevy and Plymouth, so it's basically a Low Priced Full Sized Four Door Sedan. I bought it for parts but don't have the heart to part it out. I've switched a few parts off of it which were in better condition than on the Dodge I'm restoring. Items like side view mirror or Sun Visors, but the thing is, anything I took off, I replaced with a different part. I've got a PA title that can be Transferred, but as of now it only comes with a Bill of Sale. Here's the bad stuff. Gas lines are clogged, I can get it to run for about 2 minutes and then it shuts down. Runs with gas in the carb. The car has rusting Front Fenders and Very Rusty Quarter panels, you can see from the photos, but it's repairable if someone wants a challenge. The tires are garbage, all but one hold air. I believe the transmission works, okay but haven't taken the car on the road. Brake fluid lines are rotten and need to be replaced. This could be a "Blues Brother" car if someone wanted to go down that route. If you want a Virginia Title, I can secure one but with the DMV backed up, it could take a month. That would be at extra cost to cover my expenses. The car doesn't have a battery, the Battery in the car is just to start the engine to show off for sale, this car has no battery. Note the Dash Pad doesn't have any Cracks, that's a much sought after part for Blues Brother Guys......they sell for 300 to 400 bucks by themselves. Again, I hate to part the car out. I could be put back on the road inexpensively is you do the work your self. Brakes, Gas Lines, Tires and rust repair. The Floors are solid, only quarters and fenders are the issue.

eBay Description
CAR IS LOCATED IN RICHMOND VIRGINIA - This Old Plymouth has a very strong running 360 V8. Gas lines are clogged, I can run for about 2 minutes and then it shuts down. Runs with gas poured into in carb (4 barrel). The car has rusty Front Fenders (they bolt on, so easy to replace) and Very Rusty Quarter panels, welding required, you can see from the photos, but it's repairable if someone wants a challenge. The tires are garbage, all but one hold air. I believe the transmission works, okay but haven't taken the car on the road. Brake fluid lines are rotten and need to be replaced. This could be a "Blues Brother" car if someone wanted to go down that route. If you want a Virginia Title, I can secure one but with the DMV backed up due to COVID, it could take a couple months just to get an appointment. If you want a Title, it would be at extra cost to cover my expenses. The car doesn't have a battery, the Battery in the car is just to start the engine to show off for sale, this car has no battery. Note the Dash Pad doesn't have any Cracks, that's a much sought after part for these C body of this era......they sell for 300 to 400 bucks by themselves. Again, I hate to part the car out, that's why I'm selling it whole, please don't aske for a part off the car, I won't do that. If you want a specific part, buy the whole car. It could be put back on the road inexpensively if you do the work yourself. Brakes, Gas Lines, Tires and rust repair. The Floors are solid, only quarters and fenders are the issue. Its for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if there are no bidders bidding, I won't retract bids, but I will end early if no bidders conceivably. Can store the car for 6 weeks, then 60 bucks a month pro rata from the end of the 6 week period. Again to be clear, no title, other than the PA Title I got when I purchased the car and the Bill of Sale. I never did the transfer of the Title, I can but it will cost extra, the cost merely of my expenses and due to the slow down of the DMV and COVID, could take a month or two. There is no Battery in the car, it comes with out a Battery.

Nothing that a good parts car, a chop saw, welder, and some good fab work wouldn't fix. But lots of good parts for somebody that needs them. The bones appear to be good, just needs a new dress.

Enjoy!

Seeing this makes me extra glad to live in Arizona. Especially after growing up in NY.

Possibly the factory undercoat might hold it together?

From AD: "It could be put back on the road inexpensively if you do the work yourself."
Yea any state that would require a vehicle roadworthy inspection sticker would laugh you right out of the shop.
(but we've seen worse)

If that was in my area I would snatch that right up and drive the wheels off it. Up here in Minnesota that's the way a lot of the cars look.

What’s going on with the seats? Stock or did bottoms get recovered?
They look like the standard granny seat option. The interior is fairly nice if you can put up with those seats.

(edit) Headrests look MINT! :poke:
