Being a western car that looks like it sat outside judging by the dash, I have to wonder how dried out the whole interior is and if a good fluff & buff on the interior would clean it up? I'm sure with some fresh gas and a hot battery, this thing would fire right up! It definitely needs a good power wash.

From my experience of living in AZ for 40 years I don't hold out much hope for the interior. It may clean up enough to look ok but as soon as you sit in the seat the powdered seat foam will be in a pile under the seat. I do think it is a good project car but it'll need everything.

There's a saying, buy Western cars for the sheet metal, buy Northern cars for the interiors.

The thread turns to powder and it all just falls apart. Headliner fun in Az. Best is those GM fuzzy headliners. The thin layer of foam turns to dust and you’ll never get it to stay up w spray glue. Watched my GM buddies go insane w this problem. It’s like scraping an old popcorn ceiling Lol!!!

Figure it has a burnt interior, sketchy wiring. Unknown if it runs but needs anything with fluid in it refurbished - cooling system, fuel, brakes. BUT, if there is no floor rust and the chrome is good it might be OK. Try getting chrome part replated now-a-days! I'd be checking chrome condition first, thaty might save the day on this one.

My friend said he made an offer, but someone else offered more.
