    Condition: Excellent
    Exterior: Copper
    Interior: Metallic Gold/Champange

    Seller’s Description:
    1966 Dodge Polara 880
    Nine Passenger Station Wagon

A true time capsule, rarely seen or offered for sale. Just quite impressive! Owned by the same owner/family all its life. I purchased the car many years ago from the company that was hired to sell the car for the family estate. Remarkable condition throughout and as original as can be with only 57,300 original miles...

Near perfect interior - for its age - notably for plastic panels/edges at top of rear well covers next to the side glass edges which show minor warping/curling and minor damage on hard plastic panels on the inside of the tailgate (brittle, cracked, etc.) Otherwise, outstanding 100% original interior ...

The engine and engine bay are in remarkable original condition and present extremely well. 318 wideblock V8 mounted to the indestructible 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission starts, idles and runs perfectly...

This gorgeous wagon has been religiously maintained and babied all its life and needs nothing (with the one exception of a new windshield if the new owner does decide to replace it as the existing/original has a small crack and chip/star in it. All the other glass is in perfect condition. The original owner had installed a new exhaust at or near the same time as the new tires - and possibly new shocks - were put in. Again, this wagon has been maintained extremely well...

Attractively priced at only $29,950, this remarkable wagon won't last long, so don't miss your chance. Clear Colorado title. Bill of Sale will be provided. Payment to be made by bank wire only. Please give me a phone call at 303-941-1765 with any questions. Please NO texts or emails (I am an older, non-tech guy).

    Price: $29,950

Agreed - inconsistencies in the ad copy.

I just checked my photo files - this was for sale in Florida a few years ago from a known flipper - people may remember - the guy who ups all the chroma-key settings in the photos to make them all pop. I have a lot more photos of the car, including a bunch of the underside etc.

    Regardless, nice car!

Here's a pic from the old Florida ad:

Power disc brakes or just the wheel covers? No a/c?

    Just some thoughts,

If it's Canadian built, the lack of AC isn't surprising. I THINK that 15" wheels could be ordered withOUT disc brakes then, and that may be why this car has them. The only thing unattractive about this wagon is the price. Hopefully over time, that will come down to reality.

Come to think of it.... THAT part (the "purchased it many years ago from....." part....) doesn't add up at ALL...…..

Let us catch some flippers and flip THEM onto a bed of burning coals or some cholla cactus, as an Act of Charity. They can then repent of their evil ways. I figured this car was priced about double the actual worth.

$30,000??? Geez, that owner has been hitting the crack pipe, smoking ganja, and swilling gallons of cheap bourbon. WTF? Granted, it's a nice car. Maybe he and that guy with the blue '66 Polara four-door for $20K are buddies???

Owned by the same owner/family all its life. I purchased the car many years ago from the company that was hired to sell the car for the family estate. Impossible if he has "owned it for many years" and it's a "same owner/family all its life". Typical flipper double-speak used-car-salesman bullshit. Along with total inattention to detail, judging from the cut-n-paste composition.

For $15K, a guy can get my old '67 Polara 9-passenger wagon, 383 auto, air, lots of options. In OH, but was a NM/OK car before that. And have a FAR better car for the money!

Forgetting about the price it does look like a nice car but what makes me suspicious is all the trim for the woodgrain in place with no woodgrain. Also never saw the two tone roof before, was that factory?

"many years ago" can mean a lot of things...are we talking calendar years? dog years? fruit fly years?
