Have a couple Chrysler Newports only about a year and difference the red is a convertible the green is a coupe. They are both good looking cars have been stored in trailers about to pull them out soon to put fresh fuel and batteries in and start up. I believe they are both 383 cars, make an offer.

In other words: someone better get to the convertible before someone hurts the engine. It looks in good shape. If someone could get the fender tag...

I am betting its a 383 3 speed standard but with aftermarket floor shifter.
Common after column bushings wear out

I saw that too, interesting and rare if it is. I tried to look at the engine pic, if I could see the levers or Z bar, no luck.

looks like E61/D32 on the tag from what i could see expanding the pic.

The green one shows an automatic tranny dipstick.
So it has to be the vert with a floor shifter?
