This is my beloved 1972 Chrysler Imperial Lebaron with 440, V8 which I acquired in 2010 from a person who mentioned it belonged to his Aunts Estate. Always used non ethanol fuel. Good; runs fine, done carb work, did tune up, oil change, transmission kit, belts etc last year. Top is ok. Brakes are good and has original disc brakes. All windows and doors work good. Has all trims and emblems and 4 hubcaps. Nothing missing. Shows 3799 miles but could be 103000.I have probably driven 1000 miles in last 11 years. Even touched 100 miles an hour on the freeway and blew a tire and lost a hubcap which I finally was able to replace. 8 track player and radio work Lights and turn signal work Interior is good just a tear on the driver side. All interior and exterior lights work. All gauges work. Bad; needs paint and some body work, ac doesn’t work. Looks great and gets a lot of attention. I have no room so selling.

Seller says “Shows 3799 but could be 103799. If it was 3799 miles the upholstery would look like a 3 month old car, not all worn out. He is either a true salesman or a dope…or both. $14,000 for a car that needs a paint job, body work, vinyl top, upholstery work and non working A/C, that would be a stretch.

Since it's triple black I suppose he received a lot of messages from potential buyers bringing him to the conclusion that he should raise the price.

Unfortunately for him it's now way over priced at 14k and now selling this car will take months while he comes down in baby steps to maybe 9k or even 10k... Greed makes your life complicated

No pic of the engine bay or fender tag, but this photo shows ATC -- H53 on a 1972 C/Y is fixable, but it is not cheap to fix.

I also wonder why the red "idiot" light is acting up in this other photo:

Let us not forget that the side skirts have been removed...

... and may be missing, as they are not in the trunk:

What is in the trunk, however, is what seems to be a set of jumper cables. Hmmm...

$14k? I think not, but then again I am not a triple-black kinda guy (well, not anymore).

I think this is why:

Actually a good sign that the signal sentry appears to be working properly.

$14k is a crack-smoker price. To me, this is a $5K to $6K car, at the very most, as it sits.
