1969 Plymouth Fury I police car in need of full restoration. Car was cannibalized for its V8 years ago by hot rodders and left to rot. All glass is there and in good shape no cracks. Missing passenger front door. Interior is in need of restoration. Car has minimal rust. Floors are solid with only surface rust. Passenger rear quarter and trunk lid appear to be the most severly rusted areas. Look at pictures closely, what you see is what you get. Car was a Cochise County Sheriffs unit in Arizona. Still has its original county decal on door and 140mph certified calibration speedometer.

I recently got it a title, found it a spotlight with correct bracket to fill the hole. Also bought all four wheels with hubcaps. Great project car or parts car for your police restoration.

    Recap:
    Solid roller project car
    Has some rust
    No engine or transmission
    Needs full restoration.
    Does NOT run or drive.
    Clean title.

    Asking $900.
It's what I have in it currently.

    Text preferred.

I wouldn't agree with this, "Car has minimal rust".

The last posts of him that I remember was that he moaned about someone that wouldn't deliver a car to him in Palm Bay that he wanted to buy.
He finally said he got a Ford delivered to him, sounded like he wasn't a happy customer too, kind of let down was the feeling I got from his post. aaaaYep here's one of his last posts via the magnificent search feature.

"They Let you post The ad,So Here you go,Was done,Computer acting up,What gives????? Settled on a 1985 Ford LTD(Mid-Size) For $800 It only had 53K.orig.miles on it & they are going to deliver to house soon. (50 miles away) The MOPAR guys were just to LAZY to Deliver & I offered an extra $100 to the price too.Oh Well,But I'm Still Looking for a small block( No Convertibles) 1969 Plymouth Fury,I give up on my 2 Door( Post ) Sedan,They were All Trashed or derbied(what can I say) Still hanging out for a Slant/6 powered one too.Take Care Paul J.Amato"

For Sale - A few Plymouth Furies I Found on Offer-up

I guess the "Take Care" was the final farewell, I hope all is well with him.

I wondered too. Hope this isn't him, but he had the Elvis avatar and he kind of disappeared around the time of this article. He always said he didn't have his own computer, now that gets creepier and creepier.....

Elvis impersonator, Paul Amato of Palm Bay, arrested in underage sex sting

OMFG!.... nah that's gotta be him. I'm surprised no one picked up on that bit of news.
I'm in the county just north of him but we don't hear much on the news about Brevard County, we have enough of those sex stings going on here and Orange County Orlando TV stations leave little room for the counties to the east. It's just mind blowing when you use the map mode on the FDLE site and all the offenders & predators pop up.

Here's a 5 mile (max) radius from pretty much the center of Daytona Beach.

    DAB.FDLE.SO.MAP.5.MILES.jpg

The thing that pisses me off is when you do the poster search many are out of state offenders that fled here in the early 2000's when they tightened up the laws up there.
This is a problem statewide, Miami is just ridiculous with offenders, Tampa too.
In the mid to late 1st decade of 2000 they tightened up the laws here but if they offended before then they are grandfathered in too the old law.

I did a FDLE Sexual Offender State search with his name and came up with nothing, and nothing on the FBI National Sexual Offender database, let me see if I can find him in the Brevard or Seminole County jail website.

:eek:BINGO! This is most likely him. The Feds got him, being released in 2026 so it's not that serious, but more than the state would have given him. Wanna send him mail or package?
    :p

Nice detective work. All I did was google expecting to see an obit. If he had not used his real name as his screen name no one here would have ever known.

Welp, he's pretty devious looking in that photo, nothing new here, we've had some multiple offenders that trace back to the NYC area get caught up in one of our local seems like bi-monthly sex sting and when the Sheriff makes the press announcement the question always is "how many times has he gotten away with it?".

Getting handed over to the Feds leads me to believe he had a history and or is involved in some 'ring'.
