A friend of mine has this 440 block in his shed. OC158721 5/14/69

Cylinder bores are pretty rough. Has some ridging. I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the block. Dark shed so I just took pictures. Plus I was busy bartering on a dana 60 410 1970 E.
Figured someone might have the car that needs this block. Leadville Colorado area.
Can anyone confirm what this block would have come out of? I'm assuming it's a C body due to the C. However I know barracuda and challenger are OB+vin.
Also I'm not sure about the 68 stamping. Not sure if this is actually a vin or what? Anyone confirm any of this?

I'm also not sure if the heads or the crank are for this engine. Anyone able to tell me what these are?

C plant if Jefferson and they only made Chrysler/Imperial C bodies.

The heads are 906's, consistent with a '69 block, probably a 350 horse version since the valve springs do not have dampers. No way to really tell if the crank is native to the engine. It should have a number on it someplace that can be referenced as to the years of usage. Check the boss next to the hole for the distributor, it should be stamped E 440 HP. The casting date on this engine is late enough to have also been put into an early production 1970 car.

We know it is from a ‘70 model by the partial vin and not even that early based on the sequence number and the casting date being only about a month before the end of ‘69 production.
