I remember using those on a car (my A12) for an indoor car show in 1981. The car was just out of paint and wasn't registered. I grabbed those off the shelf to make the car look a little more "finished"... But I think I had them for a couple years before that... So..... late 70's?

Sure....

Come to think of it, I probably got the plates (had 2) at the Mopar drag seminar I attended in Detroit. I think that was 1977.
