Yes, my Godfather also worked for Chrysler Defense and then General Dynamics on the XM1 project which was the prototype for the M1 Abrams.


Cool, I also used to work on the M1A tank program. I calibrated the fuel controls for the turbine engines on the Abrams. That was when I worked at the Bendix Corporation way back in the early 80's. Did a lot of other fuel controls also for different military and commercial aircraft and helicoptors, including Pratt&Wittney.
 
I took this to show and tell in 3rd grade back when this world wasn’t circling the drain.

You'd have been the coolest dude in 3rd grade at my school, but that was back in '64. You probably weren't even thought about yet at that time though. :)
