First road trip for me in 2 years. Took the Ram this time.

Stuck in traffic in Chicago. Sears Tower or whatever it's called now....

Please keep in mind that I took all of these pictures with my phone and downloading to FCBO is going to take some time. I think everyone will enjoy these....

They are still working on restoring part of the brewery. They do have a couple of open bars and have weddings and even funerals in the brewery.

Nakatomi plaza?

Thanks for sharing the photos. That place was built when there were still true craftsmen in great supply. Love those old buildings.

You're Welcome.

All built with hand tools.....no power tools back then.

Now a few pictures of the Pabst mansion. Took 2.5 years to build. 150 craftman working on the mansion at any given time. 60 rooms, 14 bathrooms, and it would take $37 million to build in today dollars to build it. I think he said it cost $248,000 to build it in 1892.

I had 254 pictures but only posted these.

If you ever visit Milwaukee please visit these historical archiecture survivors from 1892. The brewery tour starts out with free beer and they stop to refill throughout the tour.

You can Google the brewery and the Pabst mansion and it will tell you about the history and how they were sold in 1906 to the Catholic archdiocese and then they were going to be torn down and finally saved.

It was a pretty cool day!
