1970 Chrysler 300 · Convertible located in southeast PA

The blue one in Narberth, PA is CM27T0C229842. From the ad:

"1970 Chrysler 300 convertible 440 engine Automatic. Absolutely Loaded along with original order sheet and purchase invoice. Bucket Seats and Console, Floor Shift, Power Windows, Air Conditioning, Cornering Lights, Road Wheels ETC…. Very Solid Straight Car with tiny amount of rust. Needs paint, top and interior! Runs , drives, moves and stops. Needs fresh gas and plugs since been sitting long time. Always stored inside. Would love to have it done but never going to get to this project so time for it to move on! Fairly easy restore."

@Ripinator @Samplingman will be interested in the $12k asking price in light of the condition of this EB7 300. No photo of the engine...

The EW1 white one does not have a VIN or tag thus far. It looks like it may have been repainted -- @azblackhemi will tell us, hopefully. From the ad:

"-440 V-8 -86,000 miles(3rd owner) -New Bucket Seats -Top replaced in last 10 years -Gas gage needs repair (bad ground)"

@mdh157 -- any chance you could get the tags?

From what I can see the following areas are suspect to a hands-on inspection. There appears to be rust and bubling paint at the base of both A pillars and the B pillars. If extensive cost to restore is expensive. Add that to the rust present on the right front fender, right door and aroud the right rear wheel trim I find the asking price is wishful at best. The interior is much better. Both the door interior panels pretty good shape considering its a convertible. The same goes for the seats. My value is 8500.00-10,000.00 w/ no under hood pics.

Wow, yet another B7! Looks like a great starting point, but $12k is on the high side for what needs to be done. No B3 interior or engine shots which is telling, but I am intimately familiar with what is on the other side of that “tiny” quarter rust. I’m almost 100 hours into rust repair on my project, not as simple as “just” paint, top and interior.

And I think the mileage is 150K or over so a rebuild may be needed if it was not already done. Great color to start with though. I am actually surprised, given the current car market, that they are not sold already. Lots of stuff still going for ridic prices.

Oh, and no AC on the B7 car, I'm out....

But the White car looks promising, still a little high in price though.

A/C is nice, but on a convertible, I actually prefer to be without. Less hassle, cost, and noise --> after fixing the H51 A/C on Medina (my 1971 Monaco hardtop) with the help of @71Polara383, I have no immediate plan to fix the A/C on either Snow White or the TNT (Regina and Poppy came without A/C, so they are all good). Buttercup will have her A/C fixed this fall with the help of @david hill -- and Ming will be up next, likely next Spring.

This said, I am out as I already have an EB7 300 'vert

It will probably be the last thing I do on my 'vert as well, but heading to Carlisle with it AC will be a must have accessory.

CM27T0C229842 (the blue one) is again listed on FB in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Same asking price, the seller has added some photos of the interior. Here are some, for records.

From the photos submitted w/ the interior condition and rust shown on the doors and body the asking price is too high w/ its overall condition. @ayilar can atest to the cost of rusty c bodies in rust prone areas. As far as value I'm thinking 4500.00 to 5000.00, there is nothing easy or cheap about paint and body work. It can be saved, however the overall revised costs now add an additional 10000.00-14000.00 to put in in reasonable driving condition.
