WANTED Parking Brake Cable Clip

A friend of mine needs the clip above the seal where the cable goes through the floor on a 68 Polara. The 69 uses the high beam switch so I now it need to be from a 68 (or earlier).

Even a picture of an original would be useful.

My desire isn't to start an arguement, the cable on my NYer goes under the headlight switch.

The ‘68 Polara’s use the dimmer switch to secure the cable. Here is a picture of mine. Parts book only calls out the cross member retainer and the retainer on the brake mechanism.

Not sure what year Polara you are looking for, but ‘68 uses the dimmer switch to secure the cable. Here is a picture of mine.

There is a picture in "Saga of an Ugly Duckling" thread that shows my NYer the same way. I couldn't get the picture to copy though.

Perfect, his car was too rusted to know what was original, not sure where he got that illustration.

To be fair the '68 parts book picture is pretty generic and does show a little loop clip, however when you go to the call out of the number, the Polara only shows the retainers I described above.
