Well I took a bunch of pictures at Fall Fling but Goose beat me to posting them. So instead of cluttering up the site with duplicates I'll post these instead. On Sunday we went to the Petersen Museum and saw these two Mopar prototypes. Thought they were both pretty cool.

Thanks Chris.

I was fortunate to tour that museum in 2000 while in town for the Winternationals.

Absolutely great museum, I go every tIme I'm in LA, the La's farmer's market is good for lunch before or afterwards.

Cool place. I went there in '04 and had a personal tour before it opened for the day. Got to view some areas not usually open to the public, even got to peer inside a unique RV...

Cool pics Peter. They change all the displays on a regular basis so you can keep going back over and over again.

That's what our guide (this docent was a member of our Mopar club) said. Those two I posted were in the storage area. Sadly he passed away a few years ago. This is what he drove...

I recognize the parking garage there. They actually had a few nice cars stored right in the parking garage. Maybe they're going in soon.

How was the Kustom culture-rat fink exhibit? We were thinking about checking that out sometime. Those 50’s show cars are really cool. Too bad the keys weren’t left in that blue one though...

That was one flaw with the WPC museum. They only rotated a handful of cars (3-4), the rest never changed, so why go back, especially if you're local?

*That's not a knock on the staff btw, the place ran on volunteers and a shoestring, so I'm sure they did the best they could.

Sure nice cars. Thanks for posting. Was their Turbine still on display? Chrysler toyed with the idea of a personal luxury coupe for a LONG time before finally committing to building one!

THANKS for posting these - that Dodge Firestorm I haven't seen before, Facel Vegas look a LOT like this....... that Vagabond RV is out of this world. There was one at Hershey this year, condition not as nice as this, but it DID start up and drive, which was wild too.........
