Hope this works too ???:sSig_noob:

My cars not an original cop car ( well, not that I know of ?? ).

The Police lights and bar was given to me by a friend who's father got it sent to him from a cop in Dayton Ohio, I'm guess the lights are from the 80's ???

I just put them on the car to see what it looked like and took some pics.

Your username fits perfectly with that beauty VH! Leave the lights on and find some spots. That car reminds me of the Rockford Files episode where the old sheriff and his son were looking for some buried loot down around paradise cove. 'Get the cruiser son'

The old sheriff always refers to the old cop car as the cruiser

Looks like the cop car that could bring "Christine" down!

It's got attitude!

Good job with the pics and very kool car!

Thanks fellas, yeah, I like it the front especially, looks like it's really mean ( yep " attitude " as you say Mr Fix ) , I've often wondered why they never chose the 59 Dodge front because of it's mean look for the Christine movie.

Tallhair, The Rockford Files with James Garner I distinctly remember watching on TV as a kid, I did see an old Rockford Files repeat a few months back, it brought back those good old '70's days memories for me.

In these pics I'd just drove the car back on a 20 mile trip from the panel beaters getting the drivers fin straightened as it had took a hit at sometime and the fin was pushed in about an inch at the end.

GREAT 59 Terry, I love the long .... low ... mean look. If I saw it in my mirror with the lights on ... I'd pull over ..... get out and "PUT MY HANDS ON THE HOOD" . LOL.

We need to discuss the wheels and tires though.

Will.

Yep,I'm hearin' ya there Will on the wheels ................. I call 'em my vomit wheels !!

They still had " made in Taiwan " stickers on the inside rim when I took a tire off recently.

I've got some 15x10 rims for the back and 14x 8 for the front lined up but won't get them for about another month ( I'm trying to get some 15x8's for the front but have'nt found any yet in the style )

Or maybe some Wheel republic Vegas chromie rims later on?

HUMmmmmmmm .... :thinker: I can read the words ....... Have NO idea what that means.... LOL

Sorry Will, my bad, They were sold by ebay user " American Republic " Cragar " Vegas " chrome wheels.

I'm thinking 15 x 10 rear and 15 x 8 front though I have a feeling 15 x 10 rear might be a tight squeeze even in the big wheel tubs of the Dodge, 15 x 9 would be better but I don't think anybody makes a 15 x 9 rim anyway.

The 15 X 10's might fit ok. Probably will need at least a 235 70 tire. Some 4X4 Dodge power wagons/rams used them. maybe locate one and check the fit.
I've got a pair of 15 X 8 Mopar steel wheels but shipping to you might be prohibitive.
